Aberdeen Gaelic Choir celebrates its 70th anniversary this year and continues to go from strength to strength. The choir enjoyed success at the last formal Royal National Mod in 2019 under the direction of conductor Kerrie Kennedy They won prizes for their exceptional Gaelic and music skills in the choral puirt-a-beul (mouth music) competition. The choir is now preparing for the Royal National Mod in Perth in October where they will represent Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in a fantastic display of Gaelic language and culture.
