Are you looking to learn to sing? The local Bridge of Don choir is run by vocal coach Rachael Watson. The Bridge of Don branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Bridge of Don community causes and events, our nearby Rock Choir groups come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Liverpool Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, television appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community! Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Bridge of Don Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Bridge of Don choir members recommend their friends! Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)
If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Aberdeen Rock Choir.
The Aberdeen Rock Choir is led by choir leader Rachael Watson. The choir is for all ages and all the local Aberdeenshire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Aberdeenshire music and food festivals.
We rehearse weekly during term time and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you for your FREE choir taster. You can book for you and your friends at https://www.rockchoir.com/join. What are you waiting for? It's a FREE singing session near you!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Since joining the Rock Choir, not only have I made some amazing new friends but I’ve found that my weekly singing sessions on a Monday evening start the week on a positive note and any tensions that may have occurred on a Monday morning disappear! - it’s a great mood reviver and I love the challenge of attempting to hit those high notes!' - Lynn (Rock Choir member)
