Fraserburgh
It’s golden sandy beach has been awarded 'Excellent' Status by The Scottish Environment Protection Agency. Fraserburgh is the perfect spot to discover true Aberdeenshire and its water quality is so high that the beach is an excellent place for families to enjoy quality time, build sandcastles, paddle in the North Sea (or swim if you’re brave enough to bear the chilly waters) and relax away from city life.
Discover the endless golden sandy beaches, bustling harbour, step back in time at the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre and become a Lighthouse Keeper at the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses at Kinnaird Head Castle or play on the Fraserburgh Golf Course. From cycling and walking, to shopping and a range of water sports, Fraserburgh offers so much to see and do for those looking to discover the Aberdeenshire Coast.
Getting There
Head north from Aberdeen by car via the A90. There is an available bus route operated by Stagecoach.
