Recently included in The Sunday Times Top 100 British Hotels, there are 51 stunning bedrooms, many with views of the golf course and countryside beyond.  There are two restaurants, one is casual dining in their Cave Bar and the other is Pineapple Grill and Seafood Restaurant which has been awarded two Red Rosettes.  Four luxury outdoor dining domes grace their lawns where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner with stunning 360 degree views across their estate.  Titan Sky Bar dome is where you’ll find cocktail tables for a drink before lunch or dinner where they serve curated cocktails, premium spirits and their own craft beer.  Their 800 year old Cave Bar serves over 120 whiskies with its own private Whisky Club.  A ballroom for up to 200 guests and state-of-the-art conference facilities are also available.

The hotel boasts the 7,000 yard Knights parkland course within their 240-acre estate.  Designed by Graeme Webster, it ranks in the Top 100 golf courses in Scotland by Golf World magazine.  A world-class Golf Academy and driving range have the latest Trackman facilities and their Clubhouse includes a well-stocked Pro Shop, bar and restaurant.

Pineapple was launched in July 2019 in the 2 Red Rosette Dining Room. For those not familiar with the name, historically it symbolises welcome, friendship and great hospitality – which sums up Meldrum House nicely. In Pineapple you will find a relaxed, informal dining experience.  There is no dress code and it’s open for dinner 7 days a week from 6pm. Guests are guaranteed a culinary journey of local produce created under the tutelage of the hotel’s Executive Chef, Alan Clarke. To see a menu, simply log onto www.meldrumhouse.com/pineapple.

The Cave Bar at Meldrum House is part of the original manor house’s rich history, dating back to 1236. Originally, this part of the building was a larder and storeroom. The new casual eating experience was launched in January 2019, to see a menu, simply go to www.meldrumhouse.com/1236cavebar.  It is open daily from 9am to 9pm.  Serving brunch, lunch and dinner in the award-winning Cave Bar, it is informal and social plate dining, inspired by ingredients that are local to the hotel.

Afternoon teas are legendary at Meldrum House with everything homemade.  With a selection of canapes, sandwiches and pastries in front of the fire in the Drawing Room or outside on the new terrace at the Cave Bar. To see a sample menu simply go to www.meldrumhouse.com/dining.
