Explore the story of energy, oil and gas in Aberdeen. This relaxed session offers a chance to see items being considered for an upcoming exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery and share your thoughts. What do these objects say about our city’s past, present and future?

Get hands-on with exquisite items from the collection and hear the stories behind their creation. Discover beautifully-crafted objects made right here in the North East. This relaxed session offers a chance to explore new works made as part of our micro-commissions programme, as well as locally-sourced items purchased with support from the Friends of Aberdeen Archives, Gallery & Museums.

Join us for a relaxed session exploring a selection of objects heading into the upcoming View of Aberdeen exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery. You’ll have the chance to see these items up close, share your thoughts, and help shape the exhibition by contributing your own stories and responses. This is a unique opportunity to have your voice heard and be part of the curatorial process.
