Life Drawing and Painting Weekend: In the Flesh
An exceptional life drawing experience.
A weekend course studying the human form. Commencing with initial warm up sketching on Friday evening. A final pose will be in place for the remainder of the weekend. One, often two professional models will be in pose. Draw or paint a final outcome.
"Life drawing enhances brain function by improving memory and focus, stimulating the creation of new brain cells, and fostering creative problem-solving and imagination." If you'd like to read more, see the link at the bottom of the page.
Everyone is welcome. Beginners through to advanced. As always, tuition will be tailored to the level of each individual.
Courses often run alongside each other, creating an inspiring studio environment. Sculpture, Portrait and En Plein Air - afternoon, evening and 4 day courses also available.
It's easy! Book your place and come along! You don't need to bring anything - all materials and equipment are provided (with the exception of canvas).
Tea/coffee/light refreshments provided.
Johnshaven is a great place to visit and has three great venues serving food: The Anchor Hotel Restaurant, Hidden Treasure Tearoom and The Lobster Shop. The village is very popular with holiday makers, with many places offering accommodation.
