HIVE: Creative Kids Workshops at the Barn, where each week a professional tutor will offer a fun arts experience!
Our December block, ‘Festive Wreath Making’ is on sale now.
In this workshop children will make a festive wreath out of colourful felt fabric.
Over the course of 3 weeks children will have the opportunity to learn how to turn their ideas into a design and construct their very own festive wreath with Alison Thyra Grubb.
Alison will guide children through the basics of designing their own festive wreath using colourful felt. They will learn how to take their ideas and turn them into their own unique designs and how to construct them using basic hand sewing techniques.
These workshops are for complete beginners with no previous design or sewing skills necessary. Participants will develop their creativity, grow confidence and go home with a beautiful felt object at the end of the final workshop.
Each term we will explore a different artform and theme – no two will be the same.
We’re sure the kids will be buzzing to take part and join the HIVE!
