Turriff Museum and Heritage Centre offers visitors the chance to explore our permanent exhibition covering the history of Turriff, including the Town Council, Covenanting and the Turra Coo exhibitions. Also a destination on the Aberdeen Angus Trail. Hosting temporary exhibitions featuring interesting artefacts from farming and offering a local perspective on the history and heritage of Turriff.

The Doric Neuk in Turriff provides the visitor with background information about North-East Scots, also called Doric. Offering on a linguistic level as well as an entertaining one. Celebrating and promoting Doric to keep it alive for future generations: with a Doric book collection and Doric events. Hosting Doric quizzes, a How-to-get-started-with-Doric-guide, and selling Doric items.

    Wednesday to Saturday 11am -3pm from May 1st to November 30th
    We also manage the Session Cottage which is open (subject to volunteer staffing) on Fridays 1-3 between June and September. Outside these dates or for groups please email to arrange viewing.
