About Aberdeen Central Library
For over 125 years, Aberdeen Central Library has stood at the end of Union Terrace alongside St Mark's Church and His Majesty's Theatre, forming a trio of iconic buildings fondly referred to collectively as Education, Salvation and Damnation. Situated in the heart of the city close to the Art Gallery and theatre, the library has long been part of the cultural centre of Aberdeen.
