The museum provides a unique experience of local maritime and social history. Come browse our artefacts, videos and books. We provide a hands-on experiential journey through time from the early 1880's to the present time with tools, machinery, instruments, model boats and, of course, the original life-size surf lifeboat the Maggie Law. The museum is set in the beautiful coastal village of Gourdon with its picturesque working harbour. There are local places to eat and stay the night.
