The Farm Shop

The Finzean Estate Farm shop is a superb showcase for local suppliers. Home reared beef, seasonal Finzean wild venison and game,  local vegetables, award winning cheeses, hand baked bread, pork, free range eggs, Finzean honey, preserves and ready made meals can all be found at the shop. Looking for something a bit different, there is a huge array of books and gifts and showcase art from local artists and across the country.

The Tearoom

Finzean wasn’t called the “fair place” for nought - eat, drink and shop in the beautifully converted Balnaboth Steading and admire the wonderful views of the Feugh valley and Clachnaben. Beautifully prepared breakfasts and lunches, incorporating the best of local ingredients. Irresistible home bakes and freshly made sandwiches make its traditional afternoon teas a must. Please book afternoon teas at least 24 hours in advance.

Deer Park Cottage

Deer Park Cottage stands in a secluded spot in the private grounds of Finzean Estate.

Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage is situated across the courtyard from Finzean House in the private grounds of Finzean Estate. Sleeps up to 4 people.

The Kennels

The Kennels is a charming, holiday cottage sympathetically restored to provide very attractive and cosy accommodation in a secluded, peaceful environment surrounded by rich woodland, heather hills and abundance of wildlife. It is situated at the end of a private road on the Finzean Estate with spectacular, uninterrupted views across the Feugh valley to Clachnaben

The Kennels can be booked together with Deer Park Cottage and Garden Cottage to accommodate up to 14 guests.

Finzean, meaning ’the fair place’ in Gaelic, is very beautiful and has been the home of the Farquharson family for 400 years, including the twelfth Laird and renowned artist Joseph Farquharson and many of his works were based on the local scenery.

The estate also boasts a lovely farm shop and café where visitors can enjoy homemade cakes and tea. A diverse range of activities including walking, birdwatching, and cycling are all available. Fishing (no licence required) and wildlife safari trips are available by arrangement with the gamekeeper. There are fantastic walks at every turn, views aplenty and the cottage is ideally located for exploring the whole of Royal Deeside. Horse riding, golf and other numerous pastimes can all be accessed locally.

This is a super choice for a truly relaxing break.
