Dr Richard Anderson, Lecturer in History, University of Aberdeen From students, sailors, and soldiers, Dr Anderson will consider the unexplored history of people of African descent in North-East Scotland in the 18th and 19th centuries, from the age of Atlantic slavery to the era of abolition.
