Scottish Traditional Boat Festival
As traditional boats congregate in the historic harbour, the seaside town of Portsoy celebrates with a festival of music, sailing, rowing and traditional crafts and art.
The Scottish Traditional Boat Festival at Portsoy in Aberdeenshire will shift from a physical event to a digital festival in June 2021 – with the backing of EventScotland as part of the Year of Coasts and Waters 20/21.
Innovative plans are being developed to stream a collection of bespoke video content to showcase the many facets of the flagship event which regularly attracts 16,000 to the North-east coastal town.
This virtual event will go live over the weekend June 26-27 and will be a taster offering music, dance, boats, crafts, food and drink highlights.
The virtual festival is supported by EventScotland as part of the Year of Coasts and Waters 20/21 as Scotland continues to shine a spotlight on these vital elements of our landscape.
Look out for details of how to log on to our virtual festival programme being announced soon.
