In a period when homosexuality was described as the ‘love that dare not speak its name’, how did Aberdeen newspapers and magazines discuss homosexuality? This talk shows that the Aberdeen Press developed various strategies to represent homosexuality and compares Aberdonian publications with others throughout Scotland.
