Mosaic Workshop
Over 2 days you will be introduced to the tools, adhesives and materials needed to create mosaic art in pique assiette style (pique assiette style of mosaic involves chopping up plates, crockery and other found objects to create a design).
The Pretty Rubbish Mosaic Studio is an Aladdin's Cave bursting with "treasure" to inspire you to design your own unique piece. At your disposal you will have a wealth of crockery, tiles and glass to choose from. Classes are relaxed and fun and you will be amazed at what you can achieve in a short time. You will be encouraged to find your own style of working and will go home bursting with ideas to carry on with your new skill.
The 2 day workshop will follow this timetable:
Day 1: 10am - 4pm: Introduction and creating;
Day 2: 10am - 1pm: Grouting and cleaning.
