The launch of a publication related to two exhibitions celebrating MRI development at Aberdeen.
Grampian Hospitals Art Trust have opened two exhibitions, Immobile Choreography by Beverley Hood and From Where Do We See? curated by Dr Silvia Casini, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary celebrating 40 years of MRI development in Aberdeen. These exhibitions bridge two moments in the history of MRI innovation at the University of Aberdeen.
A publication to accompany these exhibitions will be launched as part of the University of Aberdeen’s MayFest programme which will be led by Dr Silvia Casini (lecturer in Film and Visual Culture).
Guest speakers will include
Dr Leeane Bodkin - Clinical Lecturer and Coordinator Medical Humanities (University of Aberdeen)
Beverley Hood – Artist ‘Immobile Choreography’
Professor David Lurie – Chair in BioMedical Physics (University of Aberdeen)
Both exhibitions run until the 16th of June.
