Bill Williams: Highland Steam
TO MARK the emergence of Aberdeen as a popular new destination for steam-hauled special excursion trains, Famedram, the North East’s specialist rail publisher, is holding a signing event in Waterstone’s Aberdeen branch, which is located in the Bon Accord Centre, just minutes from the station.
Apart from the highly acclaimed Scotland’s Stations, Famedram founder Bill Williams will be on hand to sign copies of another rail best seller, Highland Steam.
The event co-incides with the visit, on the afternoon of Sunday May 5th, of a special excursion train organised by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society.
This event is free and drop-in at Cafe W.
