Dandara 5k
Runners can now register for the swashbuckling athletic event, with spaces available in the 5k, 2k and 1k children’s races, and the 600m fun run.
Organisers, Dandara and Friends of Hazlehead aim to build on the thousands of pounds already raised in aid of the Friends of Hazlehead since the inaugural races were held in 2014.
With a pirate theme running through this year’s festival of cross-country racing this year, organisers are encouraging participants to don an eye patch and pirate hat for the day. There may be some special prizes for the best dressed on the day!
