Aberdeen International Youth Festival
Celebrating AIYFs 45th anniversary this year, it will be hosting talented youths aged under 25, from various countries to take part in the week-long festival. People from all ages are invited to join in the festival fun by attending events that vary from gala shows to intimate classical and chamber music.
As well as the performances themselves, AIYF delivers a number of summer education courses for young people, including the ‘Dance Lab’ and the AIYF ‘Traditional Music School.’ Participants have the opportunity to work with and learn from a number of professional tutors from across Scotland.
