Bank House B&B Strathdon
Bank House B&B is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Cairngorms National Park along the Water of Nochty that runs into the River Don. Strathdon is the home of the renowned Lonach Highland Gathering on the 4th Saturday of every August, which sees 100+ Highlanders march with the Lonach Pipe Band on a 6 miles dram stop before opening the gathering.
In addition, 2017 saw the famous Poldullie Bridge as the film location for the 2019 release Mary Queen of Scots. Such a huge testament to the history of the Strathdon area which saw history unfold with the Jacobite Rebellion and the stunning Corgarff Castle just a few miles along the scenic route towards the Lecht Ski Center.
Bank House B&B provides a fantastic central location for visitors to stay and have access to castles, walks, wildlife, galleries, winter sports and to just unwind in beautiful Highland countryside.
