Aberdeen Restaurant Week – Monday 16 to Sunday 29 January
You’ll forget that the January blues ever existed when you indulge in this foodie fortnight that has over 40 participating restaurants, each serving up delicious menus at heavily discounted prices!
Starting from just £10, there has never been a better time to try somewhere new for tea, or to return to some old favourites. Traditional Scottish cuisine, scintillating Spanish dishes, fantastic vegan and vegetarian options - #ARW2023 is serving up an array of unforgettable options for you and your friends to sink your teeth into.

SPECTRA – Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 February
Scotland’s leading urban light festival is returning to the Granite City in February to light up the winter nights with extraordinary light and sound experiences.
Expect interactive sculptures, architectural projections, and more intricate displays throughout the city centre.

Granite Noir – Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 February
Dare to be there at Aberdeen’s crime writing festival, Granite Noir! An atmospheric city steeped in history and culture, Aberdeen provides the perfect setting for this popular event.
There’s a jam-packed programme of events for you to enjoy that includes the chance to meet popular crime writers, enjoy film screenings, watch hilariously improvised shows, and more.
