Young Company 3: Introduction to Dramaturgy
An active exploration of the structure of plays, highlighting how a protagonist’s tactics inform their next obstacle, to create dramatic and dynamic new work. This workshop will provide participants with a framework to understand and execute ideas and a broader comprehension of how their characters connect to the rest of the play. Ultimately, we will unpick the answer to the question “What makes a good play?”
