Can you remember where you come from? Do you know who you are? Can you imagine where we’re going?

World’s Evolution show invites you on a visceral journey through time — from the origins of humanity to the complexities of the modern world. will take you on a journey from the origins of humanity until modern days, highlighting the continuous growth of mankind. At the heart of this journey is Africa, our shared motherland and the cradle of human life. Through dance, World’s Evolution explores the collective growth of humankind, and grants the audience the space to reflect on our past, confront present-day challenges, and imagine a future where we feel united and free to express who we are.

Premiering at Dance International Glasgow in 2022 and reimagined in 2025 at Platform, World’s Evolution fuses a dynamic blend of street dance styles — hip-hop, popping, krump, locking — with traditional African and Caribbean dance forms. These are reinterpreted through bold, experimental choreography to create an immersive, emotionally charged experience. The show honours the deep, enduring impact of movement cultures in shaping our history and identity.
