Come and join a ukulele day in Braemar – three workshops and a strum-along session – with
Finlay Allison. Finlay is a freelance musician and tutor from Glasgow who runs the ukulele school
at Celtic connection every year.
The ukulele day isn’t intended for raw beginners but will cater for a range of abilities (there will be
a separate session running at 10.00 – 11.15 for absolute beginners if there is sufficient interest).
The day will be held in the village hall in the centre of Braemar. If you are coming by car there is
plenty of free parking in Braemar. There is also a regular bus service along Deeside from
Aberdeen. Coffee and tea will be available for the morning and afternoon workshop breaks. For
lunch - either bring your own or eat out in one of Braemar’s cafes (or visit the local pub
‘Farquharsons’!)
