Travel back in time on a walk up Tap O’Noth to discover who lived on the hill in history and legend. Learn how modern technology has recently revealed hidden archaeological features that suggest it became an important site for the Iron Age Pictish people. Event organised for Scottish Archaeology Month and Scotland’s Year of Stories.
Suitable for adults and children aged 10+, under 18’s must be accompanied.
Wear outdoor clothing including waterproofs and stout footwear and bring a drink and packed lunch.
Includes walk of approx. 4 miles with 340m ascent on hard-surfaced/grass tracks and paths with moderate–steep slopes.
