From late January to early March the woods of Fyvie Castle are carpeted with naturalized common snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis). Join the head gardener for a guided walk through the snowdrop covered woods. We will focus the tour in our new woodland garden in the making known as the ‘Shrubbery’ Hear all about the project and see all the wonderful trees and shrubs we have planted so far and our plans for the future, including building up a collection of named varieties of snowdrops. We will finish the tour with tea/coffee and scones up in the castle tea room which we will open specially for the event. Please note the gardens and grounds are open daily dawn till dusk throughout the festival, however the tearoom is only open on the day of the event. Booking is essential by the 6th of February. From late January to early March the woods of Fyvie Castle are carpeted with naturalized common snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis).
