Passion, glamour, love worth dying for – Anthony Besch’s Tosca has it all. In 1940s Rome, in the shadow of Mussolini’s tyrannical rule, the ill-fated lovers come to life against a backdrop of political corruption and intrigue. This superb production is beloved the world over – don’t miss it as it comes home to the Scottish Opera stage.
Revival of the 1980 production. Supported by The Scottish Opera Syndicate. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
