PPP: The Scaff (LTB24)
Written by Stephen Christopher and Graeme Smith Directed by Jordan Blackwood
Liam plays football at school with a close-knit group of lads who decide to enact revenge when they find out that he has been called the worst thing ever – a ‘Scaff’. When the scheme fails and ends up severely injuring the star striker Coco, the consequences rip apart not only the boys’ friendship but the entire school.
From the world-famous A Play, A Pie and A Pint, The Scaff is an epic and nostalgic comedy about a group of lovable misfits who plot the worst football tackle of all time.
Select performances will feature short follow-on sharings of new writing by young people, created in response to The Scaff as part of Light The Blue 2024.
Produced by A Play, A Pie and A Pint, co-presented with Aberdeen Performing Arts and The Traverse Theatre.
