Ceramics course for beginners and intermediate students to improve their skills by producing a tea light holder.

Have you ever wanted to create work with porcelain?

This ceramics course offers the chance for beginners and intermediate students to spend the whole day working within the Ceramics Workshop at Grays.

This course will teach students how to produce a tea light holder using the translucent qualities of porcelain, while utilising the flexibility of paperclay.

Students will learn to prepare their own clay. They will learn about porcelain and the slab building process to create a tea light holder or ceramic house.

All work will be fired after the class and be available to pick up and enjoy a week later.

Students will have the use of all tools and specialist equipment required at the workshop.
