Skye-bred Celtic/techno fusion layering bagpipes, whistles, Gaelic vocals, live electronics and beats into an electrifying folk-rave soundtrack.
Niteworks fuse the Gaelic language and the traditional music that was central to their upbringing on the Isle of Skye with electronica and techno to create an electrifying and genre-defying sound. The band welcomed in the New Year at Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2018 providing the music to accompany the fireworks display. They also played to a sold out 12,000 audience at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow at Celtic Connections. Their second album released this year features appearances from Julie Fowlis and Iain Morrison.
