Step back in time at the castle once home to one of Scotland's most powerful families. Between 5 July and 2 August you can meet Adam de Gordon and hear why Robert the Bruce gifted the peel of Strathbogie to him after the first wars of Scottish Independence and discover more about the constables role and whether they were successful at their job with Hugh Cróga, Constable of the Strathbogie and Huntly lands.
You can also meet a Jacobite soldier and stonemason, ready to tell you all about their lives and in the highlands!
Between the 17 July and 1 August we are delighted to welcome you to our Living History programme as part of CastleFest at Huntly Castle!
