Colonel Anne: Jacobite Heroine

Her quick-thinking saved the Prince’s life at the Rout of Moy, while her warrior-lover Macgillivray died at the bloody battle of Culloden. Imprisoned by the Duke of Cumberland, she survived to tell the tale. A true story of passion, raw courage and female independence in a turbulent Scotland. Come and celebrate her 300th anniversary with us, and visit the newly refurbished Braemar Castle.
