Join us for a whisky tasting with broadcaster and writer Rachel McCormack. In 2016, she set out to discover why Scotland had no tradition of cooking or eating with whisky and the answers to that question and her search for the essence of whisky became the subject of Chasing The Dram, the Search For The Spirit of Whisky. Val McDermid said, “Hard not to hate Rachel McCormack, who bags the best gig of the year and then writes a brilliant book.”
Rachel’s been a regular panelist on BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet since its first pilot programme. She has broadcast on From Our Own Corespondent, the Food Programme and appeared as an expert guest on BBC Radio 2 on both the Simon Mayo show and the Chris Evans show. She has written for The Evening Standard, the New Statesman, the Financial Times, RED magazine and The Guardian.
