A Day Out at Duff House
These volunteer-led tours help visitors uncover stories about the Duff family, their background, history and exploits, as well as how the house has changed over the years to serve as a hotel, a hospital, and a wartime military establishment.
11am to 12pm - tour of the house Take a tour and unpick the tale of two Williams – William Duff, owner of Duff House, and William Adam, its architect. Get up close to wonderful artworks and find out about their provenance.
1.15pm to 3.15pm - Architectural tour
Enjoy a tour looking at the architectural detail of Duff House, this will either take place inside or outside the house depending on the weather
2.30pm to 3.15pm - Piano recital in the Grand Salon A piano recital in this wonderful Georgian mansion is the perfect way to finish off your day!
While you're at Duff House, don't forget to visit the cafe for some refreshment and make sure you take in the Darg and Drams exhibition and view Monet's Seascape Masterpiece
