Turriff Show

Turriff Show is the largest two-day agricultural Show in Scotland. On Sunday, one of the highlights is the Grand Parade of Horses, Ponies and Donkeys and on Monday you can witness one of the best displays of livestock in Scotland for the Grand Parade of Cattle and Clydesdale Horses. Also, on the Monday we are delighted to again be hosting the Scottish National Simmental Cattle Show. There are over 300 outdoor and indoor trade stands offering a variety of items in the Food Fayre, Exhibition Marquee, Indoor Shopping Mall and Art and Craft Marquee. There is An Industrial Marquee for exhibitors to gain a prize for their home-based products from Jams and Chutneys to Knitting and Sewing and in the Horticulture Marquee for displaying their various varieties of flowers and vegetables. There is a children's area in the Ferguson Hall which also provides a baby feeding and changing area with seating available for Mums, Dads and Grandparents to take a well-earned seat while the children are kept busy with different activities on offer or trying their hand at some circus skills with Scotty’s Circus Workshop.

There is a vintage vehicle display and Open Dog Show on the Sunday as well as goats, rabbits, cavies and pigeons and then cattle, sheep, poultry, Highland Dancing and Companion Dog Show on the Monday.

The main ringside entertainment will be a Pageant with an open theme on Sunday and Heavy Horse Turnout Display on Monday with invitation sulky trotting and the ever-popular children's and adults races both days. Open Show Jumping competitions are held on the Monday and this year there will be a Mini-Major Relay with Junior and Adult Show Jumpers teaming up to see who can make their way round the course in the fastest time with no faults.
