The Highland Pub Games
The Highland Pub Games is an immersive cultural experience that tells a tale of the history of Scottish clans, held in the oldest pub in Aberdeen! As part of the Aberdeen Student Festival 2018, the event seeks to raise funds for two wonderful charities: The Leanne Fund and The Music Hall Transformation.
The event captures an essence of a traditional Scotland by showcasing authentic Scottish music, food and entertainment, provided by local talent Spindrift Ceilidh Band and dancers from the Sinclair School of Highland Dance. Alongside the team games, inspired by the traditional Highland Games, we will create a modern twist to appeal to our target market of 18 to 25-year olds. Attendees will participate in these games as “Clans” made up of 5 people with 12 “Clans” going head to head in the evening, with the chance to win exciting prizes!
