May Festival 2017

May Festival is a vibrant melting pot of creativity, culture and learning, brought to you by the University of Aberdeen. The festival welcomes over 13,000 visitors to inspirational activities across the sciences and arts, sparking discussion on some of society’s biggest issues.

You’ll find shows, talks, concerts, readings and tours hosted by famous faces and performers mixing with the University’s own students and staff; many of whom are world experts in their fields.

May Festival delivers one of Aberdeen’s most accessible festivals, with most events free. It’s easy to get around too - with over 120 attractions just a few minutes’ walk of one another within the University’s beautiful King’s College campus in Old Aberdeen.

May Festival always offers new experiences, like the upcoming citizen’s dig celebrating Scotland’s Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology! So whatever your sense of adventure, save the dates now, come join the buzz and let May Festival inspire your curiosity.
