Four-day young artist workshops for ages 5--16.

Time to get our young artists creative!

Know a young artist who would love to join in? Gray's School of Art is delighted to offer 4 day Young Artist Workshops this summer, catering for 5-16 years.

YES! Young Artists are back! An exciting opportunity to expand the minds and practical skills of Young Artists.

Our EXTRA Young Artist workshop options this summer will be delivered over two 4 day schools The first will be tailored for 5-10 year olds and the second will be delivered for 11-16 year olds. Within each age range Young Artists will be given their own dynamic twist on the days creative task.

These exciting new workshops will cover the following themes:

• Drawing
• Painting
• Sculpture
• Printmaking
• Claywork


Young Artists will be supported by two experienced professional Gray's School of Art members of staff. Two individual and one group project will be created each day!

We have designed these workshops so that Young Artists and parents can both attend a 4 Day School at the same time if they wish To help with this Young Artists can be dropped off prior to class from 9:30am and picked up at 4:30pm - please notify us by email if you require this to be arranged.

REFRESHMENTS: Lunch, morning and afternoon snack are provided.

• Learn new and exciting arts and crafts techniques.

• Look at the work of artists past and present.
• Connect and develop personal expression, interests and ability.
• Explore traditional and contemporary principals of art practice in fun and supportive workshops.

Please note: these classes will not take place in Gray’s School of Art itself but further down the RGU campus in the Sir Ian Wood Building. Parents/guardians of Young Artists must be present initially in order to complete our health and safety induction documents. Classes run 10am to 4pm. Parents can drop Young Artists off at 9:45am and collect them at 4:15pm.
