Wet in Wet Watercolour - A Third Stage Event
Wet in Wet is a watercolour technique that is only partially controllable, although a bit challenging, it provides an excellent opportunity to paint in a free and spontaneous way. Using dampened paper, it is necessary to work quickly, each colour is applied without waiting for earlier ones to dry, so that they run together leaving no hard edges.
This session is led by Lisa Gribbon, an artist printmaker, who studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and Horticulture with Plantmanship at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.
