Join explorers Luke and Hazel Robertson -- whose lives changed after they travelled around Greenland -- as they share their exciting experiences.

An evening with Luke and Hazel Robertson, Explorers in Residence for the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and Arctic Guides for The Polar Academy – a charity that transforms young people’s lives through exploration, with them leading ski expeditions in Greenland.

Join Hazel and Luke, who grew up in Stonehaven and attended Mackie Academy, on a journey, from skiing solo to the South Pole in Antarctica, to travelling the length of Alaska by kayak and bike; from mountainous Greenland to the changing world of Arctic Norway, as they share stories and videos from some of the world's wildest places and interesting people.

They'll be joined by an inspirational young member of the Polar Academy, who'll share her own life-changing story.

Hazel and Luke's talk is suitable for all ages and will be followed by an "in conversation with" style interview, hosted by renowned photographer and author, Andy Hall. There will also be an opportunity to ask any of your own burning questions!

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, with a short interval midway through the evening, with cash-only soft drinks, tea and coffee available for purchase. A raffle - with all raffle proceeds going to The Polar Academy charity will also take place with prizes from local businesses. Please remember to bring cash if you'd like to buy soft drinks or raffle tickets!

Free parking and toilets are available on-site.

Please email luke@everyday-exploring if you have any questions.

Thanks and we hope to see you there!
