Hidden Aberdeen Tours will be collaborating with local experienced paranormal investigators to bring you a new ghost hunt! No actors, no drama, this is the real thing where we invite a select few to join us on a paranormal investigation of Torrys historic sites including the medieval remains of the original St Fitticks Kirk where the drowned sailor of the Oscar were buried and bodies were stolen by medical students of the 19th century, Torry Foreshore where the grisly severed arm of murder victim Betty Hadden was found, and the windswept expanse of Greyhope Bay where the Oscar, the communitys ill-fated whaling ship was wrecked in 1813, along with many other ships which have succumbed to the dangerous submerged rocks of this jagged coast. With the potential that anything can happen on this investigation, we will be joined by Aberdeen medium, Sheila Dougall, member of the Spiritualist Church in Dee Street, who will use her clairvoyant gifts to aid the team in learning more about the supernatural forces that may or may not manifest on the night. This is only the second time we have done a paranormal investigation, but judging by last time, using technology like PK Meters and EVP recorders, things can and will go bump in the night. This is suitable for adults only, no-one under 18 can be admitted. We will start at Old Torry Community Centre for a fortifying hot drink and split the group into two sections, one with Sheila, and one with our resident local historian and company director, Dr Fiona-Jane Brown. Participants are asked to wrap up warmly and have sensible footwear. Lets hope it doesnt rain!Meet 8pm at Old Torry CC, 2 Abbey Place, TorryFinish: approx 11pm
