This year we are bringing back your hosts:
Liz Jones & Broken Windows and friends Jed Potts and the Hillman Hunters up from Embra!
Jed Potts & The Hillman Hunters
Every guitar lover in Edinburgh is aware of Jed Potts. He and the Hillman Hunters play the electric blues. Groovin' riffs, classic blues and roots combining originals and covers, the Hillman's will jam the night away. Fronted by the power of Potts' apparent 'born playing' guitar skill, with rhythm section Jonny Christie (drums), and Charlie Wild (bass). They have performed at many festivals and opened for acts such as Ian Siegal, Nimmo Brothers, and The Hoax, to name a few. Jed Potts has recently been played on Radio 2 by Ken Bruce!
Liz Jones & Broken Windows
Peaceful debauchery. The 6 piece un-definable twist of original classic rock dip into blues, folk, psychedelia and more with a vibe that, as of yet, has never really been 'genred' by a critic! Each song taken where it needs to go, pulling from an array of inspirations and delivered with that band vibe. Fronted by their songwriter and singer Liz Jones, with John Bruce (guitar, B'N'T), Suzy Cargill (percussion), Rod Kennard (bass, B'N'T), Gary Davidson (drums) and Jamie Hamilton (keys). The group are currently recording their third studio album, after success with both of the previous records being played on Radio Scotland.
