Neurodiversity in the Workplace: Unlocking Potential & Driving Innovation conference is an opportunity for professionals from across the public and private sectors to come together to explore and share best practice and maximise the opportunities created by ‘thinking differently’ about neurodiversity.1 in 5 of us are neurodiverse/neuro-divergent and we are still to achieve consensus on a common language in this evolving conversation about neurodiversity. Research suggests that 1 in 10, but possibly as many as 1 in 5, are on the dyslexia spectrum. 1 in 20 have ADHD, 1 in 20 have Dyspraxia (DCD), 1 in 100 live with Tourette’s and at least 1 in 60 human beings are on the autism spectrum. The prevalence of at least 20% of humankind who have minds that fall outside the standard distribution curve of what we once called ‘normal’, suggests an evolutionary reason why so many of us think differently. We will explore how a diverse workforce brings value to your organisations and customers. We will discuss how we need to develop our recruitment strategies to ‘enable’ and optimise performance and we will share best practice, concluding with recommendations and a call to action for our shared objectives." A limited number of complimentary places have been made available to levy payers of Aberdeen Inspired, the event organiser. Please see booking link for full details, agenda and speakers.
