Midweek Munro: Lochnagar Guided Walk

A fantastic hill walk to the magnificent Lochnagar. Take in the superb views of Royal Deeside and photograph the stags, mountain hare, ptarmigan and potentially eagles! Learn about history of the area, flora and fauna.
Starting at 9:30am, returning to the car park at approximately 5pm, with plenty of breaks along the way, this walk takes you to the Munro summit of Lochnagar, Cac Carn Beag (1155m). If it’s a stunning day and the group is making good progress, there may be the opportunity to another Munro too.
The walk returns via the waterfall at Glas-Allt-Shiel and Queen Victoria’s lodge situated on the banks of beautiful Loch Muick.
