Merge Night - Nina Stanger
Through live synthesises, the technique of generating sound using electronic hardware or software, artists Nina Stanger and Ritchie Muir will explore sonic composition as a way of modulating the virtual realm. Sound will bend and distort mysterious recreations of the Music Hall space.
The performance ties in with Nina’s digital art currently on display in the Music Hall Stepping In screen.
Sonic components within music include the concepts of sound spectrum, equalization, frequency range, mix panning, sound contrast, effects processing, and dynamics.
Free but ticketed
