Enjoy a weekend of foraging and walks through Glen Gairn.

Join us at Howe of Torbeg, just outside Ballater in Royal Deeside, for a relaxing residential weekend of wild food, walks and wellbeing.

Learn the fundamentals of foraging and how to make the most of nature’s larder in a sustainable way with Leanne Townsend of Wild Food Stories. Take in gorgeous Glen Gairn, tucked away in the Eastern corner of the Cairngorms National Park, and the picturesque Royal Deeside village of Ballater, only 5 miles from Howe of Torbeg. Spend some time connecting with the landscape, enjoying great food & company and enjoy a 2 night stay in one of our unique and cosy Glamping accommodation options.

The weekend includes an ID Skills workshop & short walk at Howe of Torbeg, plus a longer Late Summer Plants & Fungi foraging walk in the local area; a wild food light lunch; a catered dinner at Howe of Torbeg; lots of yummy wild food tasters; an optional short walk around Glen Gairn; & accommodation in one of our gorgeous wooden Glamping Pods, or our off-grid Shepherd’s Hut.
