Kapten Trio
The Kapten Trio consists of three young musicians all making names for themselves on the Scottish scene: Estonian pianist Kristi Kapten, violinist Rachel Spencer and cellist Duncan Strachan.
Known for their energetic, passionate and exciting performances, the Kapten Trio have a reputation as one of the top young piano trios in the country. Following two years on the prestigious Residency Scheme for Enterprise Music Scotland, they present two world premieres by Scotland-based composers Emily Doolittle and Shiori Usui alongside trios by Mozart, Debussy and Brahms.
