43 Evan Street
AB39 2ET

In this class you will learn the basics of amigurumi - the Japanese art of crocheted toys. We will cover the key techniques you will need to make your chicken or any other toys - including choosing your hook size, the magic ring, working in a spiral, invisible decreases and finishing your work. We will also discuss how to make your amigurumi child safe.

We will be following a lovely Easter chicken egg cosy pattern by Larisa of Amigurumi Fair. The finished chicken is 10cm tall. Fill them with chocolate eggs for the perfect Easter gift!

Beautiful Scheepjes Catona yarn, stuffing and the pattern are included in the course fee, though bring your preferred 2.5mm hook if you have one. Light refreshments are included.

This class is suitable for anyone who can confidently crochet UK double crochet stitches with an even tension. This class is supported by a closed Facebook group, which offers online after-class support, where you can post your progress or seek advice if you need help at home.
