These relaxed monthly meet ups are perfect for trying your hand at something new, finding inspiration for your own projects and socialising with like-minded people. You can join in the activities or do your own thing – just come along and get creative! Basic materials are provided and a member of staff is on hand to offer guidance.
Friday 21 July: What I did in my summer holidays.
Take a look at the beachwear on display in our Making a Splash exhibition to help bring your imagination to the page this creative writing session.
Friday 18 August: Create a character.
Hopefully by now you will have visited our Quentin Blake exhibitions! Try creating your own characters through observational sketching.
Friday 15 September: Crochet craft.
Dare we say that the nights are drawing in? Now might be the perfect time to start a crocheted or knitted blanket! Let us help you with some handy hints and tips.
Friday 20 October: Dia de los muertos.
Explore artworks and objects on display to inspire some Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead) designs.
