Haddo Arts Festival: Handel's Samson
Haddo House Choral and Operatic Society and Haddo Orchestra open the Festival with one of Handels finest dramatic oratorios. Composed in 1741, immediately after Messiah, the work became an instant success. Containing exhilarating choruses and some of Handels most famous arias, Samson has remained one of the composers most popular choral works.
